Shaheed Smarak College

Shaheed Smarak College is located at Bharatpur-19,Chitwan. This College was established by labour of intellectuals, social workers and guardians and runs courses from Proficiency Certificate level till Masters Level. There are more than eight hundred students studying different programs till date.

Facilities and Infrastructures

The College have well equipped libraries, transportation, physical infrastructure, sports facilities to support students’ holistic academic environment. The well experienced and qualified teaching and non-teaching faculty looks upon students’ academic and personal development needs. It has 35 lecturers and 10 administrative and other staffs. Shaheed Smarak College also meet the objectives of providing education of higher level in the local area. It uses project based learning approach which creates skilled manpower in technical and non-technical fields. It aims to stimulate participatory community development with the education field. The academic programs are affiliated to Tribhuvan University and National Examination board.

Academic Programs offered by Shaheed Smarak College

Bachelor of Computer Application

It is four years eight semesters program about studies of Computer applications in the area of software development, networking and web development. It helps to produce system analyst, system Managers, Designers, programmers and IT Managers in Information technology and software companies.

Bachelor of Business Studies

It is four years program of Tribhuvan University that provides knowledge about business organizations and areas of operations to produce human resource that can fill mid-level job positions of government and private organizations.

Bachelor of Education

It is four years program that provide knowledge of social Science, Management and interdisciplinary areas to produce teachers who can teach at secondary level by applying knowledge and skills offered by this program.

Bachelor of Arts

It is a undergraduate four years course that provides knowledge of inter disciplinary subjects like Language, anthropology, geography, history, psychology, culture, film studies , population studies to build manpower who can work in social services at organizations of government and Non-government organizations with application of their in-depth knowledge of applied arts.

Master of Business Studies

It is two years advanced program in Management about studies of its functional areas to produce Managers and heads of organization with strong leadership, managerial, communication, problem solving and decision making competencies.
