Chitwan is one of the district in South West corner of Bagmati province. It is rich in flora and fauna and linked by road through Mahindra highway, air transport. It has schools and fine Colleges, hospitals. Besides Medical Studies Chitwan is also famous for technical subjects such as Engineering and Information technology studies.
So far, Chitwan has only one College called Boston International College that provide four years eight semester Bachelor of Computer Information System program affiliated to Pokhara University. This course is delivered by academic professionals in English medium. The total intake capacity per session is 48. BCIS course constitute Concepts of Management and Information technology. The graduates of this program can work in technological and Managerial jobs in positions such as Chief Information Officers, Software Engineers, Network Administrators, System Analyst and System Integrator.
To study the BCIS program must have good academic records in Plus 2 with CGPA of at least 2.0 and C in all core subjects. They must apply and sit for entrance test and pass to appear for interview for final screening of BCIS program at College in Chitwan.
