Biratnagar is the Capital of province 1 in the Eastern Nepal. It is connected by Airport, railways, roadways that can connect with all parts of Biratnagar. It is an industrial state of Nepal. There are good Colleges for Management and Information technology programs in Biratnagar. Biratnagar sees its own University called Purbanchal University however the BIM course is offered only by Tribhuvan University affiliated Colleges.
There are two Colleges that have Bachelor of Information Management programs affiliated with Tribhuvan University of Nepal. These Colleges in Biratnagar, are supervised by distinguished faculties, experts and professionals from the national level. They are equipped with sound infrastructure with well qualified teachers, well stuffed libraries, and resourceful labs such as digital electronic lab and computer labs.

It was established in 2070 B.S. and this College provides value based education that fosters personal and professional growth to meet aspiration of young students. It runs BIM and other undergraduate programs of Tribhuvan University. The objective of BIM program at Himalaya Darshan is to produce proficient users of computational techniques for applying information based systems in the organization field.
The course of studies in the BIM, combines theory and practical subjects in a four years eight semesters academic program with an internship. The total credit hours of studies is 126. For admissions in the new session the BIM Colleges will take the entrance exam called CMAT conducted by Tribhuvan University which is mandatory.
The BIM graduates will have a vast knowledge of Information technology and Management field and they can earn a highly paid job with their knowledge and skills as Object oriented programmer, web developer, Assistant HR Manager, Software developer, Marketing officer, Project Engineer, Information Officer etc. The BIM Colleges have student’s intake capacity of 60-66 students per new session.
