School of Environmental Management and Sustainable Development

School of Environmental Science and Management is located at Mid Baneshwar. Established in 1999 it is affiliated to Pokhara University. The target aim of this College is to undertake research and consultancy work and train manpower in strategic environmental assessment, environmental impact Assessment, environmental mainstreaming, GIS and remote searing, data analysis and management. The academic programs contributes in the areas of sustainable development of the Country.

SchEMS College are providing Bachelor of Computer Application, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science Environmental Management, Master of Science Environmental Management with wide range of facilities such as IT and electronic laboratories, library, environment monitoring and research lab, internship and placement, training and research activities by prolific team of academic and professional experts at this College. It also offers online method of learning during covid 19 periods.

Academic Programs offered by School of Environmental Science and Management

Bachelor of Computer Application

It is an undergraduate degree program of four years eight semesters to produce outstanding computer professionals who can work in commercial projects like software development and relevant technologies involved. This program is affiliated to Pokhara University

Bachelor of Business Administration

This is four years undergraduate Management program with class lectures, case studies, group discussions and practical exercises, project work to equip knowledge about functional areas of General Management, Marketing, Human resource Management, Information systems, entrepreneurship and business researches to work as functional Managers with managerial and problem solving capabilities.

Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management

This program provides knowledge in areas of social, environmental and development output with skills and analysis of environment decision making, implementation, leadership and trainings in specialized areas of knowledge.

Master of Science Environmental Management

It is program under Science and Technology that provides understandings of social, physical, biological, legal economic concepts of environment and development outlook with analytical and problem solving skills to produce professional environmental Scientists, Managers, teachers.
