NIMS College

NIMS College was established in 2007. Over a decade of successful run it is now one of the popular College of Management. In 2018 the College was in the hands of new academic team of some highly reputed professionals in different fields of research and education area.

NIMS College is known for areas of innovation with extensive researches and there are Strategic Planning innovation lab, Digital Marketing innovation lab, Patan Metal Crafts innovation lab, Himalayan Natural products innovation lab, Social marketing innovation lab, deliberative governance innovation lab and social entrepreneurship innovation lab. This College also organize and participate in events such as think tank forum, environmental sociology fellowship, grant writing and raise funds events.

Academic programs offered by NIMS College:

Bachelor of Computer Application:

This four years semester wise program under Faculty of Humanities and Social Science TU. This program is a blend of Computer Science and Management to produce qualified computer software developers and solve various computer related problems and set ups in different business and industries. It combines theory with practical works such as internship.

Bachelor of Business Studies:

This is a program designed by Faculty of Management Tribhuvan University. It provides knowledge on operations of Management institutions to produce Managers capable of handling business in a dynamic environment. The course structure are grouped into foundation course with allied areas of business, core business courses with inter relation of business and Management issues and Specialization subjects in areas of Accounting, finance, marketing and Human Resource Management.

Bachelor of Social Work:

It is three years program of FOHSS, TU. This program provides knowledge of social education to produce graduates who are the catalyst of change in the life of the people. This program will further help to gain knowledge of social work areas such as advocacy, broker, change agent, counselor, mediator and researcher.

Master of Business Studies:

It is two years program of Faculty of Management TU. This course provides knowledge in the field of business studies to take up Managerial and leading positions at business organizations. This program also deepens in research skills and sharpen analytical and visionary skills. It offers specializations to give a comprehensive knowledge from all spheres of business realms.

Master of Arts in Sociology:

It is two years four semesters program to impart knowledge and theories in fields of Education, Management and law. It also provides scope of training in field work and secondary data analysis and the degree will help to gain jobs as planners, policy makers, leaders in the area of social work and areas development.
