Birgunj Institute Of Technology

Birgunj Institute of technology is a private technical institute established in 2000. It is affiliated to Council for technical education and vocational training. It is located in the Birgunj sub metropolitan city.

Facilites and Infrastructures:

Birgunj Institute of technology has all rounded facilities such as well equipped workshops and laboratories in each department, air conditioned classes with access to computer labs, well-furnished class rooms and recreational areas. This Institute prepares for qualified technologists, technocrats who can face technical challenges and solve problems work on construction and reduce unemployment. It runs five courses with driving forces of 120 teachers and have already produced 5000 happy students and offered 1000 placements so far. Besides education it is focused on food, entertainment and team building.

Programs offered by Birgunj Institute of technology are:

Diploma in civil Engineering:

This program provides the students with knowledge of learning, designing, maintaining urban and rural construction with specialization in Auto CAD. They possess skills to work as sub engineers in large and small projects and get job opportunities in fields of Ministry of Local Development, Labor and transport Management, Physical planning and Amp, Water resource, Electricity authority, drinking water Corporation etc.

Diploma in Computer Engineering:

This program provides knowledge and skills of hardware repair and maintenance, computer networking, graphic designing, database administration, computer programming, desktop publishing. It is six semesters program with a major project work.

Diploma in Electrical Engineering:

In this program the students learn and understanding the concepts of electricity, operating machine, electrical circuits, conduct and maintain mini/micro hydropower station, repair household appliance and make supervision of power transmission distribution. It is six semesters program offered by Birgunj Institute of technology.

Diploma in Electrical and Electronics:

It is six semester programs that provides knowledge of electrical components and be a technician as repairer and maintenance of electronic devices such as radio, televisions, Telecommunications to work in foreign employment and technical institution.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering:

This program provides knowledge and studies of operating and assembling various machines, maintenance and plumbing fabrication of automobiles to work in technical institutes and in foreign employment works. It is six semesters program at Birgunj Institite of Technology.
