Arunima College

Arunima College is part of Arunima Education Foundation. It started out as a primary school in the year 1986 in Jorpati and established higher secondary and College education over its inception period. It starts by carrying out its mission of imparting life centered and value based education by exploring learner’s potentials for creating harmonious society. It promotes life skills and soft skills learning. The faculty of Arunima College promotes research based teaching and learning. It helps to enhance good governance and optimize institutional learning.

Facilities And Infrastructure:

Arunima College uses participatory teaching and learning methods, discussions, problem solving, experimentation, project works, group works and seminars. For their students requirement and inquisitiveness it also provides services such as Counseling, guidance, intellectual workshop, labs, library, transportation, canteen and spacious infrastructure with well-spaced classrooms, hygienic food, spacious auditorium, indoor hall games, and alternative power supply plant provide support to unhindered learning process at Arunima College. It also provides need based and merit based scholarships to deserving students and semester toppers. This College is located at Bouddha in Kathmandu.

Academic programs offered by Arunima College:

Bachelor of Computer Applications:
It is four years program of Tribhuvan University. The objective of this program is to produce high end computer application users and developers. Students with plus 2 results in any discipline with second division marks are eligible for studying. This program provides job opportunities as system designers, database administrators, programmers in IT Companies.
Bachelor of Business Studies:
It is four years program of Faculty of Management TU. It provides knowledge and skills in general area of Management such as Accounting, finance, marketing, Human Resource, Entrepreneurship, Business Law to prepare graduates in mid-level managerial jobs of government and private sectors.
Plus 2 Science, Management and Humanities:
Arunima College offers Classes 11 and 12 two years intermediate programs in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) Management and Humanities ( Social Science and media) inside the College.
