Birendra Multiple Campus

Birendra Multiple Campus was inaugurated in 2022 B.S. and is named after the late king Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev. It is a community college and has come a very long way to achieve what it has today. It is one of the oldest colleges of Nepal that provides undergradate and graduate programs and is located in Chitwan Nepal. Birendra Multiple Campus envisions to become one of the leading institutions of Nepal that provides quality education in an affordable cost. Moreover, it is one of the few colleges in Chitwan that provides IT education as well.

Birendra Multiple Campus provides various bachelor and master programs such as Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Education and so on. B.Sc. CSIT is a popular course provided by this college. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology (B.Sc. CSIT) is a 4-year course affiliated to Tribhuvan University and comprises of 8 semesters, each semester of time period 6 months.B.Sc. CSIT is a special IT course designed to provide in-depth knowledge of computer science and information technology. This program is a credits based course and is a globally renowned program. The course is suitable for those who are from the science background and want to pursue a career in the computer science or information technology field.

The program of B.Sc. CSIT consists of various core science subjects as well as elective subjects. The course is a practical course and requires a lot of training and laboratory works. Similarly, the course also builds a strong foundation of the implementation of the computer science and information technology as well as helps to gain advanced knowledge of the latest technical education. Moreover, this program also provides service courses which helps to meet the needs of high technology. On the completion of this program, students are able to design computer software and solve various complex problems of the IT industry.In order to apply for the program of B.Sc. CSIT, students must have completed their plus two in science or equivalent with at-least second division. The students must also pass the entrance examination conducted by Tribhuvan university. Students must also sit for the entrance exams conducted by the college.
