Kantipur College of Management and Information technology (KCMIT) is located in Mid-Baneshwor, Kathmandu. It is running under Tribhuwan University’s new direction to enter into collaboration with the private education sector to provide technically advanced education to Nepalese students. Bachelor in Information Management is a program with a blend of management and information technology.

Kantipur College of Management and Information technology was established in August 2000 by a group of management educationists and IT professionals with wide knowledge and work experience in the fields of education management and teaching. Graduates from this program will have knowledge and skills to develop business information systems, analyze and design databases, develop network internet applications, a sound understanding of business processes, skill development in programming information system projects. Additionally, it also helps to understand of principles and operations of the business, the importance of computer science in the decision-making activities of the organization.

Students interested in studying BIM should have the ability to think logically and creatively, aptitude for data analysis, and information-based decision making.BIM is a semester-based program so students have to be continuous learners and team players.

Programs Offered by Kantipur College of Management and Information Technology

Bachelor of Computer Application

It is four years program under FOHSS, Tribhuvan University. It is four years eight semesters program of 126 credit hours. It provides knowledge of computer application areas to produce high end users and software developers. This course have 42 subjects and total seats per intake is 35 at KCMIT College.

Bachelor of Information Management

It is four years program of 126 credit hours that provides knowledge of Information and Communication technology with Management with focus on Information technology. It is four years program of 41 subjects with intakes of 64 seats at KCMIT College.

Bachelor of Business Administration

It is four years semester wise 120 credit hours program about studies of applied areas of business such as Management, marketing, business law, accounting, finance, knowledge Management to different business environments. This course have 41 subjects and KCMIT College have 64 seats per new intake.
