Bachelor of Information Management (BIM) is one of the popular undergraduate program designed by Tribhuvan University. There are currently 11 colleges running BIM program under the affiliation of Tribhuvan University. By the name only it is clear that this course consists of Information Technology (IT) and Management. This course is a blend of IT and management. BIM consists of 40% management and 60% Information Technology subjects.
These days the knowledge of management is not sufficient. Every sector is dominated by the IT. Without the knowledge of IT we are incomplete. So, if students wants to know the knowledge of IT along with management then BIM is the best course to study as an undergraduate program. Also students who are not sure whether they want to study management or IT can select BIM. In that case students can either choose IT as a career or management as a career after completing BIM.
