Amrit Science Campus

Amrit Science Campus(ASCOL) is the only pure science campus in Nepal. Before it used to be known as Public Science College(PUSCOL) but later on it was changed into ASCOL with the name of late Principal Amrit Prasad Pradhan. He gave his full dedication to uplift the college to a higher level. His valuable time and effort to promote the study of science and technology have benefited the college to become one of the well-known colleges in the country. Amrit Science Campus is semi-government college and is located at Lainchour, Kathmandu.
Amrit Science College is established under the affiliation to Tribhuvan University(TU). This college runs undergraduate programs of science background such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Statistics, Computer science, environmental science, and Microbiology. Whereas it offers Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Botany under the master program. Similarly, under IT program it offers Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology. Students are required to successfully pass +2 or equivalent from science stream to enroll these courses.
There is a high competition everywhere in the present world which has been making everyone work even harder day by day. Not only other business companies and its workers but educational institutions have also been conscious about the challenging scenario. Knowing this fact, Amrit Science Campus has been providing standard education trying its very best possible effort for making difference in the field of Science and Technology. Along with multiple science faculties, this college also has been running one of the demanding IT course, B.Sc. CSIT. With the increasing scope of IT, the college has chosen one of the programs that integrate the knowledge of both computer science and technology which provides an opportunity for dual specialization. As a result, students can be able to explore their creativity and skills in the real world. Since there is an extensive demand for qualified human resources, studying this course will unlock the door for multiple career opportunities for the student.
